A major argument can be made for Cardi B having the best year ever, no question. On the low, John Legend has also had one of the best years of his career. While WGN cancelled “Underground,” the slave drama John Legend was executive producer over, he kept winning.
Not only is John Legend still riding the success of last year’s album release, his tour is doing well. The famed singer is even an ongoing discussion topic on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” As his wife is expecting his second child, John Legend is now playing Jesus.
This morning, NBC announced “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert” and they have a star. Headlining the entire thing is John Legend, who plays the title role. So, he’ll be ending 2017 in high style, delivering music the best he knows how.
