Ten years have gone by since Joell Ortiz first entered the game and he’s gotten better with time. Five years ago, Joell Ortiz linked up with Joe Budden, Crooked I, and Royce Da 5’9. Together, these four made Slaughterhouse and they immediately became fan favorites.
Rumor had it, Eminem was going to sign them to Shady Records and he made good on his promise and he did that. Since then, it’s been smooth sailing for the group and the artists have seen rises in their solo career. Now, they are preparing for their next studio offering.
Joell Ortiz stopped by Hot 97 this morning and he talked to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Styles. While he was there, Joell Ortiz talked about his new music and an overall appreciation of music. A couple of times, Joell Ortiz even attempted to bust out a few rhymes.
