A big reason why Joe Budden is no longer rapping, transitioning into being a personality, is due to his opinions. The host of his self-titled podcast is often discussing the culture. He has several issues that span across many topics.

Joe Budden is definitely pro hip hop and R&B, something he stands behind. This is ironic, seeing how he was once viewed as an artist that wasn’t authentic, as many vets shunned him. It goes without saying that this perception of Joe Budden changed.

Tonight, Joe Budden was doing his podcast-like thing, and he raised a topic. Streaming on Apple Music, he was playing Jennifer Lopez’ 2001 album, J. Lo, likely the “I’m Real” track with Ja Rule. Going on his IG Story, Joe Budden questioned why the album was in the R&B/Soul category.
