Not only is Janet Jackson a legend, in her own right, but she turned herself into an icon. All of this work Janet Jackson put in wasn’t all by herself. There was a team behind Janet that helped make her into a star, outside of her last name.

Janet Jackson had Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as the production team behind her. They helped produce many of her biggest hits, as Janet began climbing the charts. When she returned to making music, Janet reunited with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Recently, Jimmy Jam stopped by Shade 45, sitting down with Sway and the “Sway In The Morning” team. During the interview, Jimmy Jam spoke on A Tribe Called Quest’s Grammy snub. He also talked about Janet Jackson not doing the Super Bowl, this year.
