When the Roc was at its best, the label added Cam’ron and his Diplomat imprint. The deal, however, was not approved by Jay-Z. The addition of Cam’ron and his crew led to the split.br /br /Jim Jones, at the time, was nothing more than the businessman of the crew. He was Cam’ron’s sidekick the way Dame Dash had been for so long to Jay-Z. But, after watching Jay-Z operate, Jim Jones began taking rap seriously. Their meeting led to an immediate end to the long-standing feud. While they ended their beef with Kanye, the two still have hard feelings for Jay-Z. Still, they give credit where credit is due. Each time Cam’ron talks about Jay-Z, he says he is one of the best rappers ever and he is an great businessman. Recently, Jim Jones joined the praise saying Jay-Z is one of the best ever, but Kanye West is also a beast.br /br /With their emWatch the Throne/em album on the way, Jim Jones spoke from a fan’s perspective. He said Jay-Z is still a beast, but in their recent recordings, Kanye West has been getting the best verses. If the album is like their music on “G.O.O.D.
