Jim Jones reveals “Memoirs of a Hustler” project and September 9 release date

Jim Jones 11Early on, Jim Jones was Cam’ron’s business partner and he was comparable to the role Damon Dash played with Jay-Z. Ironically, Jim Jones and Cam’ron came up in Harlem with Damon Dash. This relationship led to Cam’ron and the Diplomats joining the Roc-A-Fella Records roster.

Unlike Damon Dash, Jim Jones soon began rapping in addition to making his business moves. After releasing albums in 2004 and 2005 to no commercial success, Jim Jones emerged in 2006. He released Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment), which included the “We Fly High” single.

Jim Jones never reached that level of popularity again, but he has continued to release mixtapes. His Vampire Life mixtape series has become quite popular and Jim Jones has another edition coming up. Taking to his Instagram, Jim Jones released the Memoirs of a Hustler artwork and revealed September 9 was the release date.
