Today, The Weeknd officially confirmed that his fifth studio album, “Dawn FM,” will officially be out on January 7. This is after speculation that the project could’ve been released today.
Dawn FM was also rumored to initially be titled “The Dawn.” Now, the promotion for Weeknd’s forthcoming album is in full effect. He released a trailer for Dawn FM on his social media feeds and now, another one featuring legendary actor, Jim Carrey, is here.
Carrey just took to his Twitter feed to reveal that he listened to the Dawn FM album with The Weeknd last night. He also narrates this new trailer, where it also appears to confirm some of the features on Dawn FM, such as Quincy Jones, Lil Wayne and Tyler, The Creator.
“Listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel @theweeknd last night. It was deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony. ;^•”
