For longer than many people realize, Jhene Aiko has been putting out music. The mainstream world learned of Jhene Aiko in 2014, when she dropped her Sail Out EP and “The Worst” took off. Since then, she has not reached the same levels of mainstream fans.
However, Jhene Aiko remains a powerful force in the game. During her time of emergence, the Los Angeles hip hop scene finally rose to take the game back over. In the midst of this was Jhene Aiko, finally getting her proper recognition.
Jhene Aiko stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” speaking to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. She would discuss her work and relationship with Big Sean, along with “Maniac,” her new material. From there, she would speak on what type of maniac she is.
