Jeremih Released From Hospital After Originally Being in ICU For COVID-19 Treatment; Issues Statement as He Rests at Home

Jeremih was hospitalized for COVID-19 in the ICU. After that, he was placed in a regular hospital unit since mid-November. Yesterday though, fellow Chicago native, Chance The Rapper, offered promising news a few days ago. He revealed that Jeremih would be leaving the hospital. That is now officially the case today.

“I AM FILLED WITH PRAISE RIGHT NOW I JUST HEARD MY BROTHER JEREMIH’S VOICE ON THE PHONE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALMOST A MONTH HE WILL BE OUT THE HOSPITAL TOMORROW WE GIVE ALL GLORY TO THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME,” said Chance on Twitter.

Jeremih had originally been placed on a ventilator as he had trouble breathing. He slowly began to progress though and thankfully, he is at this point now where he is at home resting, per TMZ.

“First and foremost, I would like to thank God and the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for saving my life. I will be forever grateful. I would also like to thank my family and friends for all their prayers and well wishes. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. A special thanks to Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent and Diddy for their love and support.”

As of now, it’s still unclear when Jeremih tested positive for COVID or when exactly he was admitted to the hospital. In the enough, everyone is glad to see him alive and well.
