Over the years, Jennifer Lopez charted major hits with such rappers as Ja Rule, Fabolous, and also Fat Joe. A little later down the road, Jennifer Lopez also featured Lil Wayne on one of her records. But, earlier today, Jennifer Lopez featured Pitbull on her new single, “Live it Up,” which is the first single off her upcoming album.

Popular producer, RedOne, launched his 2101 Records back in 2010. With deals across the table, RedOne has a distribution deal with Cash Money Records. But, for the label to truly gain notability, RedOne went after one of the biggest stars in the game. With Jennifer Lopez being a free agent, RedOne pursued her.

Earlier this morning, news broke of Jennifer Lopez signing with 2101 Records with a distribution deal with Capitol Records. This new deal is for Jennifer Lopez to release her upcoming tenth studio album. Jennifer Lopez plans to release her new album towards the end of 2013.
