Lately, the spotlight has been back on Ja Rule, after he did his Verzuz, against Fat Joe. When he went into his hits, Joe jokingly said J. Lo doesn’t return Ja’s calls. Rule snapped back saying they just performed together, last week, and last night, Jennifer Lopez brought him out at Global Citizen.
In 2001, Ja Rule went from being a regular popular rapper to being an international pop star. This happened, as Rule was paired with Jennifer Lopez. Together, he and Irv Gotti remixed “I’m Real” and “Ain’t That Funny,” with both records topping Billboard.
Jennifer Lopez performed, during Global Citizen, and she brought out a special guest. The guest was Ja Rule and the crowd went crazy, when he came into perform his parts of the songs. This continues the recent run, with Rule being thrust back into the spotlight.
