Eleven years ago, Jeezy took his street momentum to the mainstream, when he was signed by both Jay Z and Diddy. The first deal was a solo deal with Def Jam, while the other was a group deal with Bad Boy. In the end, Jeezy left the group.
Jeezy became the flagship of a Def Jam South led by DJ Khaled that was also home to Rick Ross and Ace Hood. This span of time saw the trio appear on countless Khaled anthems. Outside of this, Jeezy made memorable records with Lil Wayne.
Recently, Jeezy made his media rounds, doing “The Breakfast Club” and doing Hot 97. Later, Sway would sit down with Jeezy at Shade 45 for “Sway In The Morning.” Here, the Trap or Die 3 discussion continued, with Jeezy telling Sway what it means to trap.
