Jeezy talks Def Jam snub on “Me OK” with VladTV [VIDEO]

Jeezy VladTV 2Since the departure of Jay-Z, Jeezy has become more open in expressing his disdain with how things are going with Def Jam. Ever since his mainstream breakthrough, Jeezy has been signed to Def Jam, but he is now working with other labels. Last year, Jeezy took on a business role with Atlantic Records and some feel like he may sign with them.

These label situations seemed to come out on Jeezy’s new album, Seen It All. On the lead single, “Me OK,” Jeezy rapped about how he has a business arrangement with Atlantic Records in addition to Def Jam. Because of this, many felt like Jeezy really would be leaving the label.

During his conversation with Jenny Boom Boom for VladTV, Jeezy directly addressed this reference. While admitting to some changes, Jeezy gave background on the history and relationship he has with Def Jam. He said he was not dissing the label, instead he was just referencing more deals on the table.
