Channeling his inner Jay Z, Jeezy decided he would address his community. Undoubtedly, there is too much to keep track of going on in the urban community. In response to this, the #BlackLivesMatter campaign was started.
While this has been going on, Jeezy has stayed out of the spotlight, for the most part. The Atlanta rapper returned last year, releasing an album called Seen It All, which did moderately well. He even had a big moment in hip hop, when he ended his beef with Rick Ross.
Now, Jeezy is living up to his social responsibility and deciding to pen a letter to his people. After all, it is these people that helped Jeezy get where he is, by purchasing his CDs, merchandise, and concert tickets. Addressing the “church,” Jeezy gave his two cents to the world.
