Jazmine Sullivan speaks on worthiness, relationships, and new project, “Heaux Tales,” with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

In 2008, Jazmine Sullivan emerged and was immediately one of the biggest names in R&B. Late in summer 2008, she dropped “Need U Bad,” complete with Missy Elliot ad-libs. Along with that, her sound wasn’t too different from Alicia Keys, who owned the game at that time.

Jazmine Sullivan soon proved to be an artist, in her own right, as her single, “Bust Your Windows,” became an anthem. In 2009, she was an opening act for Ne-Yo, but soon retired from music. She returned with her second album, but then went on a five-year hiatus, ending in 2015.

Recently, Jazmine Sullivan spoke to “The Breakfast Club,” following another five year hiatus. She talked with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. Their discussion was on worthiness, relationships, and Heaux Tales, her newest project.
