Often, Jay Z compares his rap career to Michael Jordan’s, but his timeline is closer to Kobe Bryant’s. Through Kobe’s career, he went through many trials and tribulations. Similarly, both Jay Z and Kobe rose to the top of their respective games at the same time.
The past few weeks have been all about Kobe Bryant, as the NBA season comes to a close. This isn’t the Kobe Bryant the sports world fell in love with, as his 2013 Achilles injury ended his career. Since that time, the beloved Los Angeles Lakers have posed record low seasons.
This season is again the worst season in Laker history, but everyone is showing up to support Kobe Bryant. Recently, Jay Z moved out to LA and he is living up to the status by attending a Laker game, the most important game of the season. Once fans spotted Jay Z, they quickly made him trend on Twitter.
