Jay Z scores big win with #TIDAL, as streaming service is number one among black consumers

To some degree, everyone defies the odds on a daily basis. When the stakes are raised, that’s when greatness is achieved. This is why such figures as Jay Z have always managed to come out on top and, in more recent times, the uber-successful Golden State Warriors.

Seeing how he built his fortune off music, Jay Z decided to jump into the streaming game. He had a vision and he purchased TIDAL in order to make it happen. Despite having a multitude of celebrity partners, the service has struggled mightily, but Jay Z is not giving up.

For all of TIDAL’s struggles, they have won with “Money & Violence,” the Kanye West premiere, Rihanna’s album, and “Formation” from Beyonce. Those wins are signs of the future, if Jay Z continues his path of success. But, the biggest win of all is the core audience, the black audience, choosing TIDAL as their top streaming provider.
