At this point, everyone is aware Jay Z is in court over the “Big Pimpin'” single. In 1999-2000, this song helped Jay Z establish himself as the star he would soon become. Few artists have managed to sell and top the charts the way Jay Z did.

Touted as hip hop’s top businessman, Jay Z entered a new business venture, early this year. This new venture is TIDAL, a streaming company he purchased to rival Spotify. But, TIDAL had a multitude of problems and soon faced stiff competition from Apple Music.

In court, this morning, Jay Z was asked about his business ventures. He talked about his various businesses, but left TIDAL out, for some reason. Once he was reminded of TIDAL by his attorney, Jay Z then admitted he forgot to name that business, for whatever reason.
