With the same number repeated three times over, Jay-Z managed to recapture the rap game. But, that’s taking nothing away from DJ Khaled, Future, Kendrick Lamar, French Montana, and Migos. All of these guys are having incredible years. It still wasn’t Hov, though.
Jay-Z dropped the album and he didn’t hold anything back. Off the bat, he confirmed the rumors that Solange fighting him and Beyonce’s tell-all album, Lemonade, were all about the same thing. He let it be known he had a threesome in Paris, and that his mother’s a lesbian.
Now, Jay-Z is taking this show on the road, starting in October. It all starts in Anaheim on the 27th, before ending in Los Angeles on December 31. So Jay-Z is coming for that Artist of the Year spot, Khaled should look out.
