Jay-Z and Beyonce could become first Oscars-nominated couple.
From the moment they got together, Jay-Z and Beyoncé made history. Basically, they announced their relationship, with “Crazy In Love.” That song was Bey’s first solo single and it debuted at number one on Billboard, which was the first time either topped the charts.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé would take the lead, as the top hip hop couple. When he took on the Def Jam presidency, Jay was the first rapper to do so. This propelled him into a business career, where he has broken barriers, as a rapper-turned-executive.
Earlier this year, Jay-Z and Beyoncé partnered with Tiffany & Co. While their deal has sparked controversy, their commercial could make more history. Their “ABOUT LOVE” ad could be nominated for an Oscar, for ‘BEST SONG.’
