In the wake of all the bad news of women of color being kidnapped and thrown into human trafficking, this happens. This young woman, Jasmine Yvette, has been making a name for herself in NYC media. She is a part of “The Breakfast Club” family and doing big things.
Jasmine Yvette is doing her thing in New York City, but she is originally a native of New Orleans. Preparing to return to her hometown, for the holidays, Jasmine Yvette ran into a nightmare scenario. Getting into a cab, she found herself beaten by the driver.
What she described as the best night of her life, Jasmine Yvette said that soon changed, when the man driving the cab told her to cut the volume of her phone down. While she complied, an argument ensued, and this led to him punching her like she was a man, according to her words. When the cops were involved, she said they told her to either get in the back of another cab, or the police car, as the NYPD said there was nothing they could do, since the man, too, was scratched.
