In the previous articles, there was a mistake in how Hip Hop Vibe spelled the name of the late Jasmin Grady. Her name is Jasmin without the ‘e’ on the end of it, but her name will not be forgotten on Twitter. Only days ago, most heard of her for the first time and it was unfortunate that she was already gone.
Early this week, Jasmin Grady was lost in a car crash in Pender County, located between the North Carolina cities of Wilmington and Jacksonville. Those close to her know she loved life and she was a fan of Drake. A dying wish Jasmin had was for Drake to sing at her funeral.
Her friends and family came together with a #DrakeSingForJasmin hashtag that has gone viral. While several celebrities have tweeted the hashtag, Drake has yet to acknowledge it. Jasmin Grady will be laid to rest on July 21 in Wilmington and the members of the #DrakeSingForJasmin movement are not giving up.
