James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond indicted for 2009 murder

Former entertainment mogul, James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, was recently sentenced to prison for leading a cocaine ring. When the charges were first brought up on the mogul, many former employees came forward. Soon, it was rumored of him being involved in many other crimes.

One of the most-discussed stories came last summer. A man named Dexter Isaac came forward to reveal his past work for Jimmy Henchman. Isaac revealed he was the man who shot Tupac Shakur in 1994 at Quad Studios. Dexter Isaac said he shot the controversial rapper under orders from Jimmy Henchman, something he denied.

Before the end of the summer of 2009, Jimmy Henchman was also accused of being involved in the murder of Tony Yayo’s friend. Jimmy Henchman was accused of hiring two men to take him out. Previously, Tony Yayo was rumored to have had an altercation with Jimmy Henchman’s son.

The New York Times reported of Jimmy Henchman’s involvement in the murder of Tony Yayo’s associate.

Preet Bharara, the United States attorney in Manhattan, said Mr. Rosemond and the five other defendants had “operated like a mini-gang, allegedly committing a revenge killing, and a host of drug and firearms offenses.” A seventh man was also charged with firearms and narcotics offenses but not murder.

Mr. Fletcher was shot to death on the evening of Sept. 27, 2009, near Jerome and Mount Eden Avenues in the Mount Eden neighborhood of the Bronx.Mr. Rosemond and another man hired at least two of the defendants to kill Mr. Fletcher in exchange for drugs, according to the indictment in United States District Court in Manhattan.
