During the weekend, Jacquees made a bold statement. The popular singer, signed to Cash Money, called himself the “king of R&B.” Even though he tried to specify, meaning he was referring to this current era, nobody was hearing him.
Jacquees found himself the center of discussion for a couple of days. In the end, his bold statements got him a response from R. Kelly, who shared a photo of himself on the throne. Now, Jacquees has an even bigger platform to showcase his music.
With all the attention on him, Jacquees took to Instagram, where he previewed some new music. This music is set to be released sometime in 2019, which is only days away. In his IG caption, Jacquees referred to himself as “THE KING.”
