Earlier this year, Florida rapper, Jackboy, ran into a bit of legal issues. He was in a car, with his friend, as the friend was unable to maintain control of the car. This was in a blue Lamborghini SUV, as police initially supposedly smelled marijuana inside.
Cops ended up searching the car, and found two unregistered weapons, a 9mm and a Glock. Jackboy maintained his stance that he didn’t know those were inside the car, as the passenger in the backseat ended up claiming ownership. With Jackboy’s record though, he couldn’t be around convicted firearms.
Jackboy ended up being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to TMZ though, this case is now closed. Jonathan L. Adams of the Monroe County D.A. This was “due to our concern regarding being able to prove [Jackboy] had actual knowledge of the location of the firearms.”
Adams cited how the passenger in the backseat claimed that the guns were his, and not Jackboy’s. His attorney, Drew Findling, also approved of this decision.
