Ja Rule talks Jay-Z’s biggest secret, the real Murder Inc., and Jehovah’s Witness with Geto Boys [VIDEO]

Ja Rule talks Verzuz, Scarface getting a kidney, history with Jay-Z and DMX, overcoming adversity, and more with Geto BoysIn his career, Ja Rule has lived all kinds of ups and downs, going from being the number one rapper in the game, to being hip hop’s most hated. Nearly twenty years later, Rule is loved again. Even his former rival, Busta Rhymes, is openly showing him love.

Ja Rule released his debut album, Venni Vetti Vecci, in 1999, and he hasn’t looked back. From 1999, until 2004, Rule released a new album every year. Each album produced at least one Billboard Top 40 hit, but he normally released top five singles.

Recently, Ja Rule sat down with Geto Boys, where he spoke about some of everything. The conversation began with them discussing Verzuz and his writing process. This opened up the conversation about Jay-Z, leading to DMX, and the Murder Inc. group, before he went into his childhood, dealing with Jehovah’s Witnesses, as  child.
