Ja Rule talks MTV reality show, “Follow The Rules,” new book, music, and more with XXL

Many artists emerged during the early 2000s who dominated the charts from hip hop, but none of them had the magic like Ja Rule. While others sold more records, Ja Rule seemed to be the man on top of the game. This was credited due to Ja Rule being more consistent than his contemporaries, dropping albums yearly.

Of course, Ja Rule would fall from grace, but he has turned his pain into profit. He poured all the negative events that happened to him into his book, Unruly, which Hip Hop Vibe talked to Ja Rule about during the summer. This proved to only be the prequel to 2015, when he stars in his own reality show, “Follow The Rules,” due on MTV.

Ja Rule recently took time out to talk to XXL and he discussed “Follow The Rules” and his new deal with MTV. Saying he has recorded three albums worth of new music, Ja Rule said he will debut the music via MTV. He went on to speak on the book and Genius Loves Company, which he said might come later in 2015.
