Years ago, there was speculation about Ja Rule doing a reality show, which he initially denied. Later, Ja Rule revealed he did have a reality show in the works, but legal woes slowed him from doing the show. Earlier this year, Ja Rule revealed “Follow The Rules” was the name of the series.
During the summer, Hip Hop Vibe talked to Ja Rule at the Unruly book signing and he discussed his reality show. Ja Rule also spoke on his upcoming album, Genius Loves Company, and his work with Queen Latifah. Staying low profile early on, Ja Rule is preparing a massive comeback, just on camera more than on the microphone.
“Follow The Rules” will star Ja Rule, his wife Aisha, Jeffrey, Jr., Jordan, and Brittney, his daughter. The show is produced by 51 Minds and MTV will be the network airing the new series. Queen Latifah, Irv Gotti, and Ja Rule are the executive producers of the new series, which should air before the end of 2015.
