Many have drawn parallels between Ja Rule and Drake, coining the latter a modern day version. Back in 2009, Drake signed with Young Money and he’s dropped three platinum albums. Through this period of time, Drake has scored countless hits.
When Ja Rule talked to “The Breakfast Club” in 2013, he discussed the influence he had on the younger generation. He also revealed many current artists have reached out to him for songwriting. But, Ja Rule has taken time off to film “Follow The Rules” and record his new album.
Last summer, Ja Rule talked to Hip Hop Vibe about this new album, which he said is called Genius Loves Company. Recently, Ja Rule took to Twitter to ask how fans would feel about him working with Drake, later deleting it. But, he made more tweets and he revealed he finished filming the season finale for “Follow The Rules” and that he is wrapping up the Genius Loves Company recording.
