Ten years ago, 50 Cent posed a major threat to the rap industry. Shot nine times and alive to tell the story, 50 Cent wanted everything Ja Rule had. The makings of a legendary beef was there.

Ja Rule and Irv Gotti made numerous dumb decisions and found themselves horribly losing the battle. But, when it came to the war, Ja Rule found support in Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Nas, Shyne, and later even G-Unit member, Game. However, label issues stopped Ja Rule from having a fair shot.

Unable to produce a comeback album, Ja Rule parted ways from Irv Gotti. This decision proved to be one Ja Rule would pay for. In 2007, Ja Rule, along with Lil Wayne, was busted for guns and drugs. Both paid the price, with Ja Rule still paying his. Due out of prison in a little over a month, Ja Rule already has his comeback mapped out, he wants to challenge 50 Cent to a charity boxing match.

The two last came face-to-face a decade ago, with stakes much higher, and fought in the city of Atlanta. Now, with their feud more of a running joke than anything serious, Ja Rule is suggesting they leave their beef in the boxing ring.
