J. Prince accuses Megan Thee Stallion of lying on him in court documents, despite signing affidavit, blaming Roc Nation for putting her up to it, but not blaming Jay-Z, and mentions her deceased mother, all in defense of Carl Crawford and 1501, saying he won’t let the major labels take advantage of him [PHOTOS]

When it comes to independently-owned hip hop labels, Master P is considered the gold standard. Given everything he’s accomplished, that’s a fair assessment. Since 2015, Master P has received renewed love from the current generation, but he always gives J. Prince props.

Master P always says he watched J. Prince and that’s what inspired him. That, in turn, led to J. Prince receiving more attention for his legacy and not the drama with Young Money, over Drake. Now, J. Prince is back in the spotlight, over this whole Megan Thee Stallion situation.

J. Prince dedicated a lengthy Instagram post to Megan Thee Stallion, where he accused her of lying on him in court documents. Mentioning her deceased mother, he said they negotiated a great deal, receiving 40% of all profits, being unknown, at the time, and still having no album out. He accused Roc Nation of putting her up to it, but said he doesn’t know if Jay-Z is aware of this.

All of this is in defense of Carl Crawford and his 1501 label, saying that he won’t let the major labels push him around, nor did he allow labels to push him around. He also called them out for trying to make him out to be the bad guy, when he’s only defended his interests. J. Prince cited the work and money people like him put into independent artists to develop them, when major labels want, and then want the final product.
