Every trend had to start somewhere and there were many initially taken as jokes. When J-Hood left his longtime home, D-Block, which is headed by Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch, he began releasing mixtapes upon mixtapes. J-Hood showed off his grind and has since become one of the top mixtape rappers in the game.

Currently, J-Hood has his latest mixtape in the works, The Sacrifice. In 2012, J-Hood released several projects, including Book of Joshua, Don Status, and even put out a “best of”-type project. But, 2012 is officially the past. With 2013 being both the present and the future, J-Hood has gotten back on his grind with his newest project, The Sacrifice.

Earlier today, J-Hood released a new vlog where he opened up about the inspiration behind The Sacrifice, which is due in the near future. The Sacrifice is only the first of many new projects from J-Hood, as he plans to flood 2013 the way he did 2012. Also, 2013 marked his twelfth year in the game, which fueled most of the discussion in his new vlog.
