J. Cole’s Classic “2014 Forest Hills Drive” Album Reaches 3 Billion Spotify Streams

J. Cole is widely regarded as one of the best rappers to do it. One of his greatest projects so far has been his third studio album, “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” from 2014. Many even believe that this is his best one to date.

Fans continue to stream this album heavily as now, it has reached over 3 billion Spotify streams, according to Chart Data. Following its initial release in December 2014, it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was also led by the singles “No Role Modelz,” “Love Yourz,” “Wet Dreamz,” and “Apparently.”

2014 Forest HIlls Drive also contained no featured artists and still went on to be certified 3x platinum in the United States. Having platinum projects with no features is something that Cole has heen praised for. He went on to do this with his “KOD” album in 2018 as well.

As of now, fans are also waiting for a new album from Cole as he’s expected to put out two projects before his highly anticipated “The Fall Off” album. Last summer, the Fayetteville native added that The Fall Off is being worked on but not rushed.
