J.Cole Gives Memorable Halftime Show Performance At 2019 NBA All-Star Game and Reps The Charlotte Hornets

J. Cole classic All Star Game halftime show.

J. Cole may not have made his shot the last night (February 16th) at the dunk contest, but for the most part he’s been slam dunking all weekend! His most recent single “Middle Child” has just gone certified Gold in the United States in less than a month and Cole’s halftime performance at tonight’s 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, North Carolina was one for the books.

As we know, All-Star weekend is not just for the athletes but a gathering for the music industry as well. The entertainment and fashion industry has always had a strong presence. Many sit courtside as eye candy while some artists are tapped for performances, either way it’s great a networking and experience overall. Meek Mill kicked off the game with a fiery introductory performance with tracks like “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro),” “Going Bad” and more, while NC native Cole held down the halftime show.

Cole repped the Charlotte Hornets while performing a medley of his hits starting off with his most recent banger “Middle Child.” He then transitions into his verse on 21 Savage’s “A Lot,” as he shows love to the ATL rhymer who was recently released out of ICE’s custody and is currently facing a felony warrant. He jumps into KOD’s “ATM” before he wraps up his set with some older material from across his career.
