J. Cole and Dreamville’s ‘Revenge Of The Dreamers III’ Album Officially Certified Platinum

J. Cole and his Dreamville released the third installment of their ‘Revenge Of The Dreamers‘ series last summer as it was headlined by singles such as Cole’s “Middle Child” and “Got Me” by Omen, Ari Lennox, Dreezy, and Ty Dolla $ign.The deluxe version went on to be released in January with 12 new tracks. It even had a surprise feature on “Under The Sun” by Kendrick Lamar as it also had J.Cole, Lute, and DaBaby.

The annual Dreamville Festival which was supposed to be held in Raleigh, NC was postponed last month due to the coronavirus pandemic. They rescheduled for August 29 but it’s still unknown if concerts will take place for the rest of 2020 due to concerns of large crowds.

There is some good news for the label now though as ROTD 3 has just been certified platinum by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. 1 million units officially ended up being sold today. The first ROTD project was released back in January of 2019. The label as also been winning as Lenox recenly released her ‘Shea Butter Baby (Remix EP)’ which featured remixes of songs that appeared on her 2019 debut studio album, ‘Shea Butter Baby.'[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUUuI–jAlM]
