J. Cole and his Dreamville label continue to win big. They released the third installment of their “Revenge Of The Dreamers” album series on July 5 as it was led by Cole’s hit single “Middle Child” which was released in January. It ended up being the first song of 2019 to go double platinum.
Middle Child’s success soon carried over to Revenge Of The Dreamers 3 as the album is now certified gold by the RIAA. Every artist on the label appeared on the project such as Cole, Ari Lennox, Bas, Cozz, Omen, J.I.D., Lute and Earthgang. ROTD3 also received other star power from Dreezy, DaBaby, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Nudy, Smokepurpp, Vince Staples, Ski Mask The Slump God, and an expected Kendrick Lamar feature on “Under The Sun.”
Definitely expect ROTD 3 to go platinum very soon due to its quick success considering the fact that it’s already gone gold in a three-week time frame. At the same time, fans will now be wondering when Cole will drop his next solo album. His previous one was “KOD” last year which was another project where he went platinum with no features on it.
