Irv Gotti relaunches Murder Inc., talks new series, “Tales,” and how a psychic changed his life on #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

Few people could have imagined, twenty years ago, what Irv Gotti knew for a fact would happen. Back then, he was DJ Irv, working with Jay Z, and had a contact to Def Jam. He would broker deals for Jay Z and DMX on Def Jam, leading to him getting a role within the company.

Irv Gotti saved his own talent, Ja Rule, for Murder Inc., the label he launched in conjunction with Def Jam. From 1999 to 2004, Ja Rule came out with straight hits. When Ashanti was added, the label really took over, but unfortunate circumstances slowed them down.

After landing the joint venture deal with 300 Entertainment, Irv Gotti stopped by “The Breakfast Club.” Talking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God, Irv Gotti spoke on relaunching Murder Inc., and his BET series, “Tales.” Then, he spoke on how a psychic changed his life.
