Interstate 76 in Philadelphia is completely floodedHurricane Ida was predicted to be worse than Hurricane Katrina and it was headed directly for New Orleans. Set to arrive, on the sixteenth anniversary of Katrina, people were worried. While it was bad, for New Orleans, it could have been worse, as Ida did more damage, in the Northeast.

The city of Philadelphia is a city that is on the rise. Once upon a time, it was the second-largest city, in America, but went through a population decline, for decades. However, the 2010s saw the growth of Philadelphia, as people have embraced the culture, there.

As Philadelphia is getting back on its feet, Hurricane Ida hit the city, hard. Massive flooding has taken the city, over, as even highways flooded. The above image is from yesterday, showing Interstate 76, at the International Airport exit, being completely flooded, right up to the overpass bridge.
