In entertainment, Ice Cube has been blessed to have two careers. Initially, he was known for being a controversial rapper. But, he is now more commonly known for his long list of films.
Ice Cube’s best work is the Friday franchise, which made stars out of many. The initial film starred Chris Tucker, Tiny Lister, Faizon Love, among many others. This was their intro onto the big screen.
For years, people have speculated why Chris Tucker didn’t return to the film. In subsequent films, Mike Epps replaced Tucker. On Twitter, a fan said Tucker left Friday over money, but Ice Cube revealed he turned down $12 million to do Next Friday.
According to Ice Cube, Chris Tucker turned down Next Friday due to religious reasons. He said Tucker no longer wanted to curse and smoke on camera. Because of this, he had to replace Tucker in the film series. There has been a lot of talk about a fourth installment of Friday, which was to include both Tucker and Epps, along with the other originals. However, over the past few years, many key cast members, including Tiny Lister, have died.
