It’s a new day in Oakland and it’s thanks to Iamsu!, who has risen to become the new leader of the Oakland hip hop scene. As the leader of the HBK Gang, Iamsu! has broken out as one of the biggest new artists on the West Coast. Iamsu! formed a strong alliance with fellow West Coast rapper, Problem.
Early this year, Iamsu! and Problem dropped their Million Dollar Afro mixtape, which did pretty well. Now, Iamsu! is going back in and working on the sequel mixtape that looks more like a solo release. Iamsu! has gone from being an up-and-coming artist to the next force, working alongside 2 Chainz.
Iamsu! recently caught up with Sermon’s Domain and he talked about some of his upcoming work. Being the leader of the HBK Gang, Iamsu! has devoted a lot of focus to his crew and he spoke on this.
