Devastation is all around and it’s horrible that the same places are being hit twice. The islands are barely over Hurricane Irma and everyone, stateside, is thankful that they weren’t hit worse. But, Maria is the new hurricane in town and it’s done major damage.
This morning, Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, at 6:15 am. The storm immediately flooded San Juan and the other cities, on the island. While this is the United States, some look at Puerto Rico a bit differently, but everyone is human, that should count for something.
Hurricane Maria has now left Puerto Rico, but now it’s all just beginning, as the residents have to live with the aftermath. As a sign of how bad things are, there is no power. Yes, 100% of the island of Puerto Rico is without electricity.
