Plenty of shakeups have taken place at Hot 97, with Angie Martinez departing the station in favor of Power 105.1. Before this, another power shift took place when Ebro stepped down as program director. He did this right before the VH1 premiere of “This Is Hot 97.”
Ebro already made the decision to be a morning show host while being program director. But, Ebro later decided to step down as program director in favor of being a radio personality. Now, this has been taken to the next level with his show being rebranded.
The Hot 97 Morning Show is hosted by Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, with DJ Cipha Sounds sometimes coming in. Now, the Hot 97 Morning Show will be known as “Ebro In The Morning.” This news comes off as a bit of a shocker, as the show continues to broadcast.
