Hit-Boy talks Kanye West and Jay-Z, childhood, and more with Hard Knock TV [VIDEO]

The past couple of years have seen Los Angeles having a big impact on the rap game and it’s bigger than most even realize. Nobody can deny 2012 was a major year for both Kanye West and G.O.O.D. Music. It can even be argued that Kanye West had a bigger year pushing his compilation than he did with Yeezus.

Kanye West had a monster year, no pun intended, in 2012 and his biggest hits were produced by Hit-Boy. It was news to some, but Hit-Boy is from Los Angeles and a major contributor to the “New West” scene. Hit-Boy ended up leaving G.O.O.D. Music to pursue his own rapping and his own label HS87.

Hit-Boy recently invited Hard Knock TV into his studio and they shared an in-depth conversation about several topics. “Niggas in Paris” was produced by Hit-Boy, so he definitely has some stories about “The Throne” of Kanye West and Jay-Z. He shared some stories and also talked about his own childhood with his mom and sisters.
