Even though you have been doing your thing for the past few years now, there are some who still do not know much about you, so can you give us a quick summary of your career this far? Basically, I’m an artist from South Central Los Angeles, #Trapfornia. I have been grinding with my music for a long time and been updating my life on YouTube, so like you could really see my career ups and downs through YouTube. You see the growth, the change, the everything. I’m on a mission right now and I have worked with Soulja Boy, which was a blessing. Now it is time to work with more big name artist and I’m putting myself in that bracket.

When did you begin working on Just Getting Started 2Early in the year, I really been on my Trapfornia shit, but I wanted to turn the summer up with some function slaps, then winter time come feed them that Trapfornia.

What is it like when you and DJ Goonie work together? Me and Goonie been across the world together like for real. Goonie a beast, we did a show in Germany the chemistry is great dude is talented

As far as the sound, what were you going for on Just Getting Started 2? I just wanted people to turn up for the summer and have a good time, think positive, dance, and have fun. For real, I really fucks with the Bay, so I want to shout out to the Bay Area, no doubt from the Bay to Los Angeles.

Kurupt is featured on the project, can you talk about your relationship with him? Nigga’s jealous cuhhh (laughs). Yhat record be banging. Actually, Spiffie set that up he has the second verse on the record. He real cool, he hit me like I got this hit with my unk, Kurupt, we just waiting on your verse just like that.

Can you talk about some of the other features on the mixtape? Sean Mack, 2Eleven, C4 Rico, AV, Mac Ace, Young Nephew, X-Rated, Keyz, Freshboybleed, Kurupt, AD, and Spiffie all brought greatness to the project they came with fire verses and these are really people I fucks with. It’s all real, shout outs to everybody featured on this mixtape, straight blessing.

Do you have plans of pushing any songs off the tape for television and radio? I’m thinking “Word Around Town” with AD. That is a big record right there.

What is the fan reaction like when you put out new projects? The fans be amped. I always attach myself with my fans, interact as much as possible, give away stuff, follow people on Twitter, everything. I fucks with #TeamYoungSam.

Is there a Just Getting Started 3 mixtape coming in the future to continue this series? It’s a possibility that sounds great. I’m always with the turn up, so that might just happen.
