January 2013 got off to an energetic start, with several artists releasing new mixtapes. It was a big event for New York City, as Brooklyn’s Uncle Murda finally released his mixtape, The First 48. Uncle Murda has always stood out as a unique artist and he continued this trend with Mike Epps hosting the mixtape.
Uncle Murda brought Mike Epps back into the hip hop fold, but he did not stop there, as he also appeared on the remix of Tahiry Jose’s “Devil.” Keeping his wave going, Uncle Murda has revisited The First 48. “No Cake” is the next single off the mixtape and it is an anthem on the mixtape circuit.
