Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
The Bronx, specifically South Bronx, is the birthplace of hip hop and the whole borough is continuing to supply the game. French Montana is currently a fan favorite and he’s from The Bronx. However, Songlist is the new guy from The Bronx who is holding it down for the R&B sector.
Songlist is an up-and-comer in the R&B game, but fans will soon be seeing him once a week on television. MTV cast Songlist for their “Industry Open Mic” reality television series. Before this, Songlist auditioned for “American Idol,” but was another casualty of Simon Cowell.
During AD The General’s 8th Annual Elegant Hoodness Music Program Award Ceremony, Songlist also made an appearance. Here, Songlist gave Hip Hop Vibe an interview, where he discussed his new singles gaining traction and channeling positive energy. Songlist also spoke on some of his upcoming projects.
