If Snagz’ name doesn’t ring bells, that’s perfectly okay because his work does and it’s known in industries outside of hip hop. A native of Queens, Snagz has worked with all of the big names in the game. The list is far too long to recount, but Snagz is known.
Snagz talked to Hip Hop Vibe, previously, during the 2014 Global Spin Awards and he briefly spoke on his work. While hip hop is where Snagz is rooted, he has done other things. Among the most-mainstream known work Snagz did was producing the Powerade Super Bowl commercial.
Hip Hop Vibe got up with Snagz in the studio for a much deeper interview, where he was able to speak more in-depth about his career. Yes, there is the Powerade commercial, but there is also his own production unit, Grammy Boys, which has more than lived up to its name. During the interview, Snagz discussed the people he has worked with and the other producers he has rubbed shoulders with, which includes Swizz Beatz, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj, DMX, Eve, The L.O.X., and many others.
