The world got to know Luke James, when he played Johnny Gill in the popular BET mini-series, “The New Edition Story.” However, before that, Luke James was already an accomplished singer. He has some records out that already had him known, on a certain level.
Luke James playing Johnny Gill helped introduce him to a much bigger audience. Now, his role on “STAR” continues keeping Luke James in front of a big audience, each week. Expect to see a lot of Luke James, over these next few years.
At the Soul Train Awards, Luke James spoke to Hip-HopVibe.com, as EJ was holding us down. The conversation became about giving everyone with soul a chance in the soul music industry. He also gave some positive words to aspiring entertainers who are struggling.
