Over the summer, the biggest event to take place was the BET Awards, as those performances were fire. For months, Mary J. Blige’s performance was trending on YouTube. The hip hop heads also lauded rising rapper, DaBaby, for his performance.
Lucky Daye was in the midst of those heavy hitters, proving that R&B isn’t dead. While his music is still somewhat bubbling under, he is fast becoming a household name. The people catching onto his music have no complaints.
At Essence Fest, HIP-HOPVIBE.COM spoke to Lucky Daye, and he discussed his BET Awards performance. That was huge for him, as was his Essence performance. During his interview, he spoke on both performances, along with his music, and his goals of putting out seven successful albums.
