Last year, VH1 launched a spin-off of their highly-popular series, “Love & Hip Hop.” A hip hop renaissance took place in Atlanta and VH1 decided to capitalize on it by adding the city to their network. “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” premiered and became the most-discussed topic of urban entertainment during the summer of 2012.
Stevie J became the breakout star of the series for his love triangle with Joseline Hernandez and MiMi Faust. He also got into a high-profile fight with Lil’ Scrappy, which defined the season. Other cast members included Rasheeda and Shay Johnson, all of whom played a major part in the show.
Entering the second season, VH1 has high hopes for “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” As the series is set to premiere next Monday, April 22, 2013, the cast of the show attended an event in New York City. Hip Hop Vibe, courtesy of Ride or Die TV, has exclusive photos from this cast event.
Mona Scott Young also had her other shows on the set of this event. The cast of her new series, “The Gossip Game,” was also present, primarily K. Foxx was in attendance. Also on the scene was Lore’l from the original “Love & Hip Hop,” alongside Mysonne. K. Michelle and Joseline Hernandez from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” were in the building for the event also.
